Our Sydney CBD team is looking for an experienced Senior Business Banking Manager to join the team with a particular focus on Proprietary originated transactions. We need someone who strives to achieve the best outcomes for our customers. As an experienced Senior Business Banking Manager, you will manage relationships with clients and your immediate team and have a strong focus on developing good referral sources, community links, and new business partnerships for this diverse portfolio. As a Senior Business Banking Manager, you will: Assess economic value and risk potential of new business. Educate customers about their business options and provide sound advice about risk and opportunities for growth. Proactively leverage networks of internal and external contacts to help identify new referral opportunities. Implement initiatives to support customer acquisition in your local market. Discuss customers' proposed annual business plans. Prepare and submit customer lending proposals with the support of our associate team. Work with internal specialists to best serve your customers. To be considered for this role, ideally you will possess: Strong prior demonstrated experience within business banking and/or credit assessment. Comprehensive understanding of business and commercial practices with significant emphasis on sales, lending, credit assessment, and control experience. Proven track record of quickly establishing and maintaining strong, positive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders internally and externally. A commitment to strong risk culture, conduct, and compliance risk. Business-related degree and/or post-graduate professional qualification is preferred.
