Their cutting-edge products are designed to protect against emerging threats, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies to deliver unparalleled performance and reliability. As a Senior C++ Software Engineer, you will focus on system performance, reliability, and scalability. You will also work on real-time camera-based detection using C++ for complex real-world systems. It would be nice to have experience with video streams (Cuda, DeepStream, ffmpeg), low-latency software design, edge devices (Nvidia Jetson), and gRPC communication protocol. The role will be based in Sydney. Relocation is required for interstate candidates. Key Responsibilities : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and provide system troubleshooting support. Develop and implement automated solutions to streamline workflows and optimise system efficiency. Identify and address potential performance bottlenecks to enhance system stability and reliability. Contribute to the ongoing evolution of system architecture to ensure it can grow and scale effectively. Enhance and maintain a logging system to capture critical performance data and support troubleshooting efforts. Create and implement comprehensive monitoring strategies to track system performance across all components. Build intuitive debugging tools to accelerate the identification of issues and improve resolution times. Lead the design and execution of thorough unit and integration testing to ensure system functionality. What We’re Looking For : A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. Expertise in C++ programming and a strong understanding of performance optimisation. A proven ability to manage and improve the reliability of complex, real-time systems. It would be nice to have experience with video streams (Cuda, DeepStream, ffmpeg), low-latency software design, edge devices (Nvidia Jetson), and gRPC communication protocol.
