Job Description
Matland Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join our dynamic team in the Brisbane Office and On-site. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in managing and overseeing the contractual aspects of our construction projects, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and successful project delivery. What you'll be doing Document control and management of construction projects with values ranging from $5m - $30m within the Southeast Corner. Monitoring contract performance and compliance, identifying and addressing any issues or disputes in a timely manner. Assisting with and reviewing contractual terms and conditions. Providing guidance to project teams on contractual matters. Maintaining comprehensive contract documentation and records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information. Collaborating with teams to support the successful delivery of construction projects. Staying abreast of industry regulations, trends, and best practices in contract management. What we're looking for Minimum 4 years of experience in a senior contract administration or management role, preferably within the construction industry. Thorough understanding of construction contracts, including standard forms such as AS2124 and AS4000. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate contractual risks. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Proficient in the use of relevant contract management software and tools. Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as law, construction management, or business administration. The ability to work in a team environment assisting staff members at all levels where required.
