Supportive and Collaborative Work Environment Casual Role: Monday to Friday Position: Cardiac Technologist Nepean Private Hospital is currently looking for a motivated, enthusiastic experienced Cardiac Technologist to join our close-knit, friendly and hardworking Cath Lab team on a casual basis. About Us Nepean Private Hospital is located in the multi-cultural Western Sydney City of Penrith. The hospital is a modern 109 bed facility providing a wide range of health services to the local community since 2000, including orthopaedics, spinal, gynaecology, ENT, plastics, urology, general surgery, endoscopy, cardiology, cardiac angiography, and obstetrics. Nepean Private Hospital has ten Operating Theatres, one cardiac catheterisation theatre, and an endoscopy suite, supported by a critical care unit which includes intensive care. It is an exciting time for Nepean Private Hospital. We are investing in our future with a $38M redevelopment which will see our Hospital grow to meet the needs of our growing community with 4 new operating theatres, a purpose-built pre-admission area, a new sterilising department, a new foyer and retail space, new consulting suites, refurbished main entry, and a new car park. In addition, we have just purchased a new Pulsed RFA system to expand our complex Electrophysiology program. As a Cardiac Technologist, your responsibilities will include: Collaborating with the Cath Lab team on Electrophysiology study, RFA and Pulsed/Cryo ablation, coronary angiograms, pacemakers, Echo, TOE, and more. Leading successful quality improvement and safety management projects to deliver desired outcomes. Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs. Acting as a role model for Safe Practice. Minimum Requirements: Suitably qualified Cardiac Technologists with CEPIA or equivalent courses. Minimum 3 years' clinical experience in Cath Lab with electrophysiology settings. Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement. Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team. Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated, and customer-focused.
