About the opportunity We are seeking a Senior Care Advisor with a strong clinical background and experience in community aged care and home care packages to support our Community Services team. In this role, you will provide expert guidance and mentorship to care advisors, ensuring high-quality, client-centred care. You will focus on advocacy, quality improvement and seamless service coordination to enhance support for both clients and care teams. Your expertise will help drive best practices and continuous improvement across our care services. The ideal candidate will be based in Melbourne’s northern region and have flexibility to travel to our head office in Mulgrave and throughout the northern region as needed. The day-to-day responsibilities Provide expert oversight and guidance on Home Care Packages (HCPs), ensuring compliance while maximising client well-being and independence. Lead and mentor care advisors, fostering a culture of excellence, professional growth, and continuous improvement to enhance client outcomes. Facilitate regular team meetings, one-on-one check ins, and case discussions, providing strategic guidance on complex client needs and best practices. Drive financial sustainability by overseeing client budgets, optimising resource allocation, and maintaining a balance between quality care and cost efficiency. Uphold the highest standards of compliance, proactively aligning policies, procedures and legislative requirements with evolving industry practices. Navigate and resolve complex client cases, offering expert recommendations and strategic direction to support care advisors in delivering exceptional service. Set clear expectations for performance, conduct, quality standards and OH&S. Champion service excellence by guiding care advisors in delivering exceptional client experiences while maintaining a strong focus on individual needs. Oversee care advisors’ caseloads, ensuring monthly, quarterly and annual review requirements are met with precision. Act as the primary escalation point for complaints, responding with urgency and professionalism while ensuring resolutions align with Fronditha Care’s values and policies. Provide decisive leadership, guiding care advisors through case conferencing and empowering them to make informed, client-centred decisions in collaboration with key stakeholders. What Success Looks Like for This Role Diploma in Community Services or tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences, Nursing, Allied Health or equivalent (preferred). Clinical experience and background are essential for this role. Previous experience as a team leader, manager or equivalent in aged care, community services or a related industry. Strong knowledge of the aged care service system and relevant government policy frameworks. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and engage staff at all levels. Effective public presentation skills with confidence in leading meetings, case conference and training sessions. High level of financial literacy with experience in managing budgets and optimising resources. Greek language skills are an advantage but not mandatory. Why choose a career with Fronditha Care?
