Job Description

We’re a cognitive science company on a mission to optimize the measurement of brain health to advance the development of new medicines and to enable earlier clinical insights in healthcare. That’s why we’re seeking a Senior Central Rater, a clinical psychologist or neuropsychologist accountable for delivering remote clinical interviews and cognitive assessment batteries to subjects with preclinical dementia, enrolled in a pharmaceutical clinical trial. Due to study requirements, candidates for this role should reside within the Pacific time zone . Key Responsibilities Remotely administering semi-structured clinical interview assessments and cognitive battery of tests to study subjects and caregivers. Remotely delivering computerized and traditional cognitive assessments via a tele-health platform. Scoring completed scale administrations. Participating in regular clinical skill recalibration activities. Providing reviews of completed neuropsychological test batteries for central monitoring of data to ensure accuracy in administration and scoring and contribute to the overall success of a clinical trial. Reviewing response forms and recordings of remote scale administrations and offering feedback to raters. Conduct applied trainings and rater remediation across studies. Requirements Doctorate degree in clinical psychology/neuropsychology/geriatric psychology, behavioral neurology, or related field. Formal training in neurodegenerative disease, clinical interviewing, and cognitive assessment. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with direct clinical interviewing and psychological assessment in clinical research industry, academic or clinical settings. Minimum of 2 years direct clinical experience with patients affected by symptoms of Mild Cognitive Impairment and Early Alzheimer’s Dementia. Direct experience with cognitive/behavioral/functional assessment of neurological/psychiatric populations. Psychologists/psychometrists with high written and spoken proficiency in English and/or Spanish and clear speech quality. Ability to meet deadlines, being highly organized and methodical, with attention to detail to ensure delivery. Proficiency with MS Office, including Word and Excel, email, teleconference platforms such as Skype, Zoom or other similar applications, and cloud-based storage service.
