Are you a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer, with a strong background in flood modelling, who wants to be responsible for overseeing and managing various civil/water engineering projects from conception to completion? Inertia has a great opportunity for an Engineer experienced in civil water modelling and analysis to expand their skills in flood engineering and be part of leading our civil water team; ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Requirements Demonstrated experience in interacting with clients and project teams, agreeing on deliverables, and managing resources to deliver projects; overseeing stormwater drainage design, pavements, and earthworks projects for various development sites. Experience in preparing and leading outputs for Stormwater Management Plans (SMPs), Hydrologic Impact Assessments (HIAs), Flood Studies, general stormwater/flood correspondence and Drainage Studies. Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in Australian Rainfall and Runoff 2019 (ARR2019) and the Queensland Urban Drainage Manual (QUDM). Ability to utilize/oversee outputs of priority software such as TUFLOW, MUSIC, and QGIS for flood modelling and analysis. Demonstrated ability of reviewing project technical work, providing direction and guidance to project personnel, and delivering results. Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent. Industry accreditation/membership is desirable. MIAust CPEng(AU) NER RPEQ would be highly regarded. Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
