With a reputation for excellence, they are now seeking a Senior Civil Estimator | Estimating Manager to join their team in Adelaide. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced civil estimator to step into a leadership role, delivering accurate and profitable cost estimates while leading a team and coordinating projects from tender to completion . What You’ll Be Doing: Lead and mentor the estimating team to ensure successful project tendering Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects Develop and submit competitive tenders that align with project objectives and profitability targets Analyse plans, specifications, and feasibility to identify cost-saving opportunities Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to achieve the best pricing and terms Coordinate with project managers and engineers to refine estimates and budgets Monitor project performance and costs to enhance future estimating strategies Stay updated on market rates, industry trends, and best practices in civil estimating What We’re Looking For: Bachelor or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil estimation Site management or control at a supervisory level preferred Demonstrated history or successful tender submissions Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work under strict deadlines Proficiency in industry-standard estimation software Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project and other relevant software packages Why Join?
