The Role: We are seeking a Senior Claims Officer to join an established team within a leading insurance organisation. This position is available in Sydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne and offers the chance to manage a diverse and complex claims portfolio. As a Senior Claims Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end claims process, with a particular focus on liability claims and Professional Indemnity . In this role, you will work closely with senior stakeholders, advisors, and customers, providing guidance to junior staff and ensuring claims are handled efficiently and professionally. Skills & Experience: Extensive experience in managing liability and Professional Indemnity claims within the insurance industry (2-5 years of experience is ideal). Ability to mentor and support less experienced team members. Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. A focus on delivering excellent customer service while managing complex claims.
