What you’ll do: As a Senior Finance Manager at Wesfarmers Health, you'll lead the charge in driving growth and transformation. Provide key insights and strategic advice to leadership, optimise performance, and manage the P&L for merchandise and marketing. You'll deliver actionable plans, influence decision-making, and ensure we hit our financial targets. Other key responsibilities include but are not limited to: As a member of the Merchandise Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in driving the merchandise transformation – including setting up strong commercial processes and disciplines, identifying and mitigating commercial risks, and providing commercial insight and strategic advice on initiatives. Collaborate with key leaders to drive insights and decision-making, identify trade performance opportunities and risks, and develop actionable plans. Partner the merchandise team on key strategic initiatives with robust commercial analysis and performance tracking. Own annual budgeting and monthly forecasting, manage P&L results and ensure plans are in place to performance in line with target. Focus on continuous improvement and automation, improve the quality and insight of reporting and set up strong forecasting processes. What you’ll bring: 5+ years in business partnering in retail, ideally supporting the merchandise team. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to provide actionable insights. Proven track record in navigating complexity and building cross-functional partnerships. Leadership experience in developing high-performing teams. Expertise in management accounting, budgeting, and business planning. Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills with large data sets. Proficiency in ERP systems and BI tools (SAP, PowerBI, etc.). Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CA preferred). Why us?
