In your new position as the Senior Connections Operations Manager, you will oversee asset acceptance, commissioning, and integration, including handoff from Commercial Delivery post-energisation and the operational commercial and technical solution to resolve customer issues. You will oversee the integration of new connection assets into existing systems and infrastructure, ensuring compatibility, reliability, and minimal disruption to operations. This is the perfect role for someone who is highly technical and understands the need for the right technical solution for our customers, ensuring the best commercial outcome for the customer and our business. Skills & Experience: Technical background such as a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. The value you will bring to the team: Experience in engineering, commercial operations, asset management, or related fields ideally within the energy or utilities sectors. Knowledge and understanding of the energy sector regulations and compliance standards. Proven track record managing the lifecycle of assets, maximising asset performance and returns. Experience managing portfolios, including capex and P&L responsibilities, invoicing, and revenue capture. Strong background in customer contract management, including post-energisation support, contract variations, and compliance. Strong customer engagement experience and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to optimise asset performance. Skills: Strong strategic and analytical thinking with the ability to drive data-driven decisions. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to champion a customer-centric culture. Proficient in understanding and interpreting NER, NEM, ARMO, and AEMC requirements. Strong financial acumen and experience in portfolio reporting and performance analysis. Crisis management skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively. Ability to influence and drive change across the organisation and with external partners.
