Role Overview: As a Senior Construction Estimator at our client, you will play a crucial role in their team, responsible for performing detailed construction-based estimates using our cutting-edge software. With your expertise in reading architectural drawings and understanding construction processes, you will contribute to the success of our clients' projects. Key Responsibilities: Conduct construction take-offs by precisely measuring and quantifying materials on PDF architectural drawings using our proprietary software tools. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and detailed sections, to accurately interpret project requirements. Develop a comprehensive understanding of dry wall/plasterboard contractor-specific Scopes of Work to ensure accurate cost estimates. Analyze and interpret architectural plans, diagrams, and specifications to provide reliable and detailed cost estimates. Collaborate with the project team to clarify any ambiguities or discrepancies in the project documentation. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up to date with the latest industry trends and software updates. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a construction-related role, preferably as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator. Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and industry practices. Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and detailed sections. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies in project documentation. Attention to detail and the ability to work with precision and accuracy. Familiarity with construction-specific software and technology is an advantage. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the project team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
