The Opportunity: Urbis has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Planner to join our Planning team in Perth! We work with our private and public sector clients across WA, nationally and internationally on a range of diverse projects with our colleagues in Economics, Property, Heritage and Design. In this role you will provide a range of services including advice relating to land use, subdivision, development, due diligence assessments, masterplans and the approval process and management. As a Senior Consultant you will bring considerable experience, credibility and professionalism to the role, as well as build and maintain new and existing relationships with clients. You will: Provide a high range of services including advice relating to land use, development, subdivision, due diligence assessments, master plans, the approval process and management; Develop client relationships by building trust, providing quality advice and managing expectations; Write submissions, proposals and advice that accurately reflects the client’s needs; Manage small to medium size projects, including scoping and costing of projects, track job costs and coordinate consultants and sub-consultants, when necessary; Identify and raise issues which may impact fee estimates and/or timelines; Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance and the Planning team’s Business Plan; Work alongside other professionals on a range of multi-disciplinary projects, work to specification, to deadlines, within budget and with a commercial outcome; Promote the firm and its services to create business opportunities; Prepare weekly timesheets and input to monthly accounts; About you: You hold tertiary qualifications in Town Planning or related discipline; Broad experience in Urban and Regional Planning, with a focus on quality outcomes.
