We are currently recruiting for a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our dynamic Sydney based team. The role involves a variety of projects and services-based work, focused on automation/control systems and solutions, primarily in the Infrastructure, Water, Manufacturing, and Gas industries. We are looking for someone with passion and drive who will be responsible for: Designing, developing, commissioning, and supporting automation and electrical systems in both project and service environments Learning from more experienced engineers whilst executing on project tasks Consistently meeting predefined project and engineering targets Contributing to the development of best practice methodologies, software, systems, procedures and uptake of the latest technologies. The successful applicant will have: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Control Systems, or Mechatronics Engineering Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant engineering role Demonstrable experience applying an engineering approach to problem solving Mature technology skillset, code development skills and methodologies (exposure to IEC 61131-3 Programming Languages an asset) Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC, Schneider Unity, and Aveva System Platform. Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively, both autonomously and within a team Initiative & a positive attitude towards continuous improvement & self-development This position is open to Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents.
