Had enough of working in an MSSP, passing the best work onto someone else? Or maybe you’re in a tiny cyber team, stretched too thin, and just want to be part of something bigger? This isn’t just another “watch alerts and escalate” SOC role. Yeah, you’ll still do some of that—it’s part of the job—but there’s way more to get stuck into. You’ll be deep into detection engineering, digging through logs, and building ways to automate threat detection. They've got a whole stack of tools—Darktrace, Splunk, Proofpoint, and CrowdStrike (not just AV, but cloud and identity modules) —and you’ll actually get hands-on with them, not just babysit dashboards. If Threat Hunting is what you enjoy, you’ll turn intel into real-world detection strategies, spot attacker behaviors before they become incidents, and when you do find something, you won’t just pass it on—you’ll be part of the end-to-end response. They also do internal exploitation, attacking our own systems to find vulnerabilities and making sure they get fixed properly. Plus, if you like taking on side projects, improving security processes, contributing to Incident Response Plans, and actually making a difference instead of firefighting all day. The great thing about this role is we don't need someone really senior, and you don't need to have mastered everything above.
