Senior Cyber Security Engineer - REMOTE (NV1 required) (BH-8222-9) Location Melbourne, Australia Sector IT Salary $162,000.00 per annum Work for a well-known Defence provider on industry leading and exciting work, consulting into defence on a cutting-edge project. The company is experiencing substantial growth, having recently won a large and highly reputable project, working to provide Armoured Military Vehicles into Defence.Role overview: The Cyber Engineer will be responsible for delivering System Security outcomes across various business units. You will collaborate with the other project and support teams to drive a Systems focused, integrated approach, in conjunction with development and verification activities. You will oversee Cybersecurity Systems, ensuring constant improvement and uplift across processes.Duties: Analyse and define Cybersecurity requirements with various stakeholders across varied business units. Define Cyber requirements through stakeholder liaison, outlining security baselines. Work with Systems Engineers/Architects to define Cybersecurity controls on a Systems/Architectural level. Collaborate and support development teams in the implementation of Cybersecurity across production. Work alongside testing teams, defining test cases across Cybersecurity. Conduct technical/risk assessments for any changes/assess impact. Engage in technical discussions around Cyber Security encompassing systems/architecture. Continuous improvement of processes in accordance with Cybersecurity standards/frameworks including NIST/ISO/ISM/DSPF. Qualifications/Requirements: CISSP NV1 Security clearance Ability to access ITAR information Technical Skills/Experience: Influence and guide technical engineers. Strong written and verbal communication. Strong knowledge of Systems Engineering processes/methodologies. Internal/external Stakeholder management. Risk assessment/management. SIEM tools. Cloud/Network Security. Endpoint management. ISM. DSPF. NIST. MITRE ATT&CK. Identify and Mitigate risks. Security accreditation planning/Security accreditation documentation.
