Our long-term client, a global FinTech leader known for its cutting-edge SaaS MarTech and FinTech solutions , is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to report directly into the APAC Data Analytics Leader. As a key member of the APAC Data Analytics Team , your role will involve using data and analytics to drive business insights and outcomes across Marketing, Sales, and Data Engineering in an end-to-end capacity. The ideal candidate will have strong business and commercial acumen, with the ability to transform data insights into actionable strategies that uncover new opportunities for growth and innovation. Your role will be to: Generate Insights – Analyse data and communicate key findings to senior leadership to support sales and marketing initiatives to support customer acquisition and retention. Lead Analytics Projects – Manage various projects autonomously – this could include market/category insights, experiment design, measuring business results, and customer behaviour analysis. Apply Advanced Analytics – Use A/B testing, attribution models, and statistical analysis to improve business performance and strategy. Work with Multiple Data Sources – Access and analyse data from various systems and third-party tools using advanced statistical methods, segmentation, and clustering techniques to optimise performance. Create Dashboards & Reports – Build visualisations and reports using Tableau, Power BI, and QlikSense for performance metrics. Collaborate Across Teams – Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Operations to drive business impact through data and to set clear expectations, managing projects effectively end-to-end. To be considered for this position you will have: 8+ years of experience in Analytics (this could be Staff Analyst, Data Analyst, or Data Scientist role types). Advanced skills in SQL and Tableau (and/or QlikSense and Power BI). Experience in marketing and sales analytics/insights is essential. Proficiency with programming languages like R or Python. Proficiency in statistical methods, segmentation, clustering, and A/B testing. Ability to work with senior stakeholders and tell a story with data. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise accordingly. Benefits: Paid on a daily rate of $857 + Super (equivalent to $222,000+Super based on a 52-week working year) Flexible Work Arrangements: 3 days in the Sydney CBD office, 2 days WFH.
