Based in a dynamic and collaborative environment, this role offers the chance to make a significant impact by shaping the company’s data infrastructure from the ground up. They are based in Sydney CBD and work with a hybrid working set up. About the Role They are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, implement, and manage a Snowflake-based data infrastructure. Reporting to the BI Manager, you will lead the development of a robust and scalable data platform to enable actionable insights and data-driven decision-making. Working closely with finance leadership and technical teams, this is a hands-on, strategic role that combines technical expertise with business collaboration. Salary & Benefits Up to $180,000 + super. Flexible working arrangements. Key Responsibilities Snowflake Infrastructure Setup Data Pipeline Development Cloud Integration Data Optimization Programming & Data Modeling Skills and Experience: Strong experience in setting up and managing Snowflake infrastructures. Advanced knowledge of Snowflake security, performance tuning, and optimization. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) Expertise in ETL/ELT processes and tools like Azure Data Factory. Proficiency in Python or Java for data automation and processing. In-depth knowledge of dimensional modeling and analytics-ready data design. 5+ years in data engineering or a similar role. Experience with real-time data integration and healthcare data (DICOM, HL7 files) is a plus.
