Canberra – Candidates must work from the companies Canberra office a minimum of 3 days per week. Mandatory Criteria: • A minimum of five to eight years of practical experience as a data analyst engineer or in a comparable position is required. The candidate must have experience leading teams of data professionals within the public sector, as this demonstrates their capability to handle the unique challenges and dynamics involved in managing and processing government data.• Proven expertise in DMBoK, combined with robust software engineering abilities for data processing, developing data pipelines, and architecting data systems. Proficiency in programming languages; with skills in at least one of Python, SQL, or Java. Weighted Criteria: • Proven expertise in data management concepts with practical experience using analytics tools like the Cloudera Data Platform, Apache Kafka for data pipelines, Confluent, Qlik Replicate, and REST API.• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages continuous improvement.• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, facilitating clear and effective interactions between stakeholders, team members, and management.
