Our opportunity As a Senior Data Modeler, you will be essential in designing, creating, and managing Mirvac’s Enterprise Data Models. Their main responsibility is to organise and structure data in ways that support business processes, decision-making, and operational efficiency. This role requires close collaboration with business SMEs, analysts, and Data Engineers to ensure data consistency, integrity, and optimisation. A strong understanding of business needs, financial reporting, and data structures is necessary for this position. Key Responsibilities Design, implement and manage Mirvac Data & Analytic (D&A) ecosystem for a high performance and large-scale data platform with an eye to utilise modern D&A components. Design and implement robust data models and architectures that support Mirvac’s data & analytics needs. Create and define conceptual, logical, and physical data models to represent the organization’s data structure. Ensure the data models meet business requirements, are scalable, and optimized for querying and reporting. Build solution and maintain Mirvac development framework by ensuring optimum delivery of all Data Engineering components including Data Quality and Master Data Management, Data Preparation (ETL/ELT), Data Warehousing, Symantec Layer & Security. Design and develop complex stored procedures and ETL/ELT utilising Matillion & Snowflake to support end-to-end data load. Provide analysis and support for modelling, reporting and analytics utilising PowerBI . Participate in the definition of technical standards, guidelines, and data governance. Work closely with the Data Engineering team to implement technical solutions and standards. Data gathering, research and analytics to develop insightful conclusions and generate solutions to address user needs. Your point of difference You are an Engineer with 8+ years Business Intelligence/Data & Analytics experience, 6+ years of Database Design, Integration & Dimensional Modelling, and 6+ years of experience in PowerBI and a relational database such as Synapse/Fabric or Snowflake. You will also have: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related fields. Relational Database and SQL language. Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL/ELT) (Matillion, Fivetran or ADF). Data warehouse / Solution Design. Previous experience working in modern analytics services like Azure Synapse or AWS/Snowflake will be an advantage. Previous experience in Banking, Finance or Property sectors will be preferable but not necessary. Previous experience in financial reporting and property industry will be an advantage. Proven experience in designing and delivering large D&A projects.
