At SEEK, we’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic Artificial Intelligence Platform Services (AIPS) team . You'll be at the heart of building intelligent, high-impact AI/ML solutions that drive real value for candidates, hirers, and our business. Why This Role? Own & Influence: Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models that ensure SEEK’s marketplace thrives. Solve Complex Problems: Use data to separate signal from noise in the ever-evolving world of hiring and recruitment. Collaborate & Lead: Work alongside engineers, product managers, and fellow data scientists to bring AI-driven solutions to life. Make an Impact: From A/B testing to inference modelling, help us refine our strategic thinking with data-backed insights. What You’ll Be Doing: Build robust, scalable machine learning models that power SEEK’s marketplace. Design statistically sound assessments of AI models and guide A/B testing. Drive alignment across cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership. Stay ahead of the curve—explore and implement emerging techniques like Generative AI . Mentor and uplift the next generation of data scientists. What We’re Looking For: 5+ years of experience in building and optimising data-driven products. Strong analytical mindset with expertise in Python, SQL, Spark, AWS, and Databricks . A communicator who can simplify complex data into actionable insights. Hands-on experience with ML model monitoring, tuning, and deployment. A passion for solving real-world problems with data!
