The Hospital is a centre of excellence and throughout its history has been a key driver in shaping oral health and dental care in Australia. The primary purpose of the Dental Technician Level 4 position is to assist in the daily operations, management and administration of the allocated portfolio within the Prosthetic Laboratory Department. The role is required to oversee and coordinate daily tasks assigned to laboratory staff and to ensure productivity and efficiency in achieving performance targets. The ideal candidate for this role will have: Extensive experience in crown, bridge and implant fabrication, demonstrating proficiency in modern digital techniques as well as conventional methods. Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring junior staff within the allocated portfolio. Successfully completed the Diploma of Dental Technology, having at least 6 years’ experience as a dental technician and relevant qualifications deemed by the employer to be equivalent to the Advance Diploma of Dental Prosthetics.
