Senior Design Manager - Defence

Are you a Design Manager with prior experience of delivering projects within the Defence Sector? Do you currently hold or are able to obtain a Defence Security Clearance? Due to continued growth and project wins, we are looking for an experienced Design Manager to join our Infrastructure team in Adelaide to provide support to a key Defence Project. Position Overview: As a Design Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our engineering and design management activities. In this pivotal role, you'll ensure project deliverables meet our scope, cost, time, and quality objectives, while fostering robust, trusted relationships with our clients. Success in this role hinges on your ability to collaborate effectively, develop and maintain strong partnerships with your team and the customer. You'll leverage your exceptional leadership skills to navigate the complexities of managing and mentoring a diverse, multi-disciplinary team, driving positive outcomes for both our clients and internal stakeholders. Skills & Experience Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification. Extensive infrastructure engineering & design experience, ideally in the Defence sector. Demonstrable experience leading multidisciplined engineering teams with a focus on people management. Demonstrable experience in working under a Defence Design Services Contract and/or Managing Contract. Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels. Strong stakeholder management skills both internal and external. Strong scope awareness in a complex project environment. Candidates must hold Australian Citizenship.
