Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine. Currently we are seeking a Senior Dietitian to join the State Rehabilitation Service at FSH. As part of the multi-disciplinary team, provides Dietetic services to the FSH State Rehabilitation patients using advanced Dietetic clinical practice skills. Supports the Head of Department – Dietetics in providing supervision to the P1 Dietetic staff in the unit/clinical area, including allocating clinical duties and in managing performance. Acts at a specialised level of dietetic clinical consultant/resource to Dietitians and other health professionals. Plans, implements and evaluates patient safety and quality of care. This is a Permanent Full-time position. Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process.
