The primary focus of this role is leading a team to provide strategic procurement advice and planning to deliver initiatives and outcomes that support Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service. An opportunity has become available for a Senior Director (Strategic Procurement) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region of Australia. You will Develop procurement options and recommendations based on an understanding of the supply market and business needs Work collaboratively with both Accounts Payable and Supply Prepare clear and concise correspondence, briefs, submissions, and reports About you To be successful in this position you will require: Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Flexible work options Salary Packaging Modern Facilities Diverse Work Culture 12.75% super 17.5% leave loading Permanent full time Base salary ranging from $169,261 - $182,579 per annum About Us The Strategic Procurement team supports key divisions within Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service to help maximise the use of resources to enable delivery of the best quality of care to our community. This includes providing expertise and advice to the organisation to achieve best value for money, leveraging state-wide buying power to minimise costs and driving supplier innovation and considering the impact to our local community through our procurement decision making.
