Job Description

Duration: 6 months with a possibility to extend Key Responsibilities Lead and manage drilling projects, ensuring efficient and safe execution of drilling operations. Develop drilling programs, including well design, trajectory planning, and equipment selection, in accordance with project objectives and technical standards. Stay current with industry advancements and best practices, applying relevant innovations to enhance drilling efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including geologists, reservoir engineers, and HSE professionals, to integrate drilling plans with overall field development strategies. Prepare and present comprehensive reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators, cost efficiencies, and lessons learned for continuous improvement. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher in petroleum engineering or related field. Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience of experience in drilling engineering with an oil and gas operator. Visible commitment to maintaining the highest standard of safety. Extensive experience in planning and executing onshore drilling projects, preferably in Australia. Proficiency in well design and the ability to develop and optimise drilling programs. Demonstrated experience in the contracting and procurement process for drilling operations. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Full-Time Australian Working Rights Required!
