About the role: The Senior Engineer is responsible for providing engineering and technical services to support the safety, reliability, integrity, and long-term value of Jemena’s Gas Transmission Asset Class that supports Jemena’s commercial and operational objectives. You will be responsible for: Operational Engineering Support ECR / TQ Investigation and Response Asset Integrity Monitoring and Condition Assessment Asset Performance Monitoring Asset Functional Safety Lifecycle Management Develop Opportunity Briefs Develop Scopes of Work (Minor Maintenance Projects) Develop Minor Capital Business Cases (Minor Maintenance Projects) Project Support (Minor Maintenance Projects) Asset Condition and Control Reports (Control Effectiveness Reports) Conduct Incident and Near Miss Investigations Analyse Asset Fault and Defect data Asset Specific Integrity Audits Develop Operational Manuals / work instructions Defect Assessment Delivery Manuals Conform to FOMs/OMCR Emergency Readiness After-Hours On Call Technical Support (Role Specific) About You: Tertiary Qualifications and/or higher in Engineering specialising in Electrical, Instrumentation or Controls (or similar). Certified Professional Engineer or Registered Professional Engineer. Certified Functional Safety Engineer (TUV Rheinland or Exida) – Preferable Competency & experience in EEHA is desirable Experience in operation, maintenance & management of Control & Safety systems Technical experience in safety critical industry including credibility with safety regulators Knowledge or experience in Australian energy utilities/services provider and contractor market Track record of delivering engineering and technical functions including standards development, regulatory compliance, and risk management Why you should come and work for us: Our people are our energy source, and we offer meaningful benefits and rewards that work for you.
