About The Role We’re looking for a skilled Senior Engineer (Google Cloud) to join our team at Innablr, bringing expertise and innovation to help clients maximise the value of their cloud environments. As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll focus on optimising cloud systems for security, performance, and automation, ensuring our clients implement best practices in DevOps and SRE. What You’ll Do Design and implement Cloud Operating Models based on the Well-Architected Framework, DORA metrics, and SRE practices to enhance resilience and scalability. Optimise cloud environments on Google Cloud for security, performance, and growth. Assess cloud-readiness and develop roadmaps for improved functionality. Enhance CI/CD and automation processes for efficient, streamlined deployments. Boost system health using modern observability and monitoring techniques. What We Look For Google Cloud fundamentals, including Compute Engine, VPCs and networking, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and other related services. Hands-on experience with containerisation and orchestration tools, especially Kubernetes, GKE, and Anthos. Familiarity with serverless technologies, including Cloud Functions and Cloud Run. Knowledge of DevOps, Agile, and SRE principles. Infrastructure as Code techniques using Terraform or equivalent. Experience with languages like Python, Golang, or JavaScript. Strong communication skills for engaging with client engineers and architects to design and implement cloud solutions. Understanding of cost optimisation principles with FinOps. While expertise in these areas is ideal, we welcome candidates with a solid cloud foundation who are eager to expand their Google Cloud skills.
