About the role We have a 12-month fixed-term opportunity for a Senior Engineer joining our Major Third Party Projects team in the Engineering Business Unit. The role is an opportunity to develop skills across water, wastewater, and drainage design, during design, construction, and commissioning of asset relocations required to enable some of the State's large transport projects to progress. Based in our Leederville office, this role will be reporting to the Senior Principal Engineer - Major Third Party Projects. Purchase additional leave of up to 12 weeks or work 4 years at a reduced salary and take the fifth year off as paid leave What the role will involve Reviewing designs submitted by Alliance Contractors for new and relocated Water Corporation assets Providing design advice through construction and commissioning Monitoring design performance within agreed time and budget constraints and ensuring appropriate design criteria and requirements are incorporated Providing advice to and liaising with external Alliance Contractors, Main Roads WA (MRWA), Public Transport Authority (PTA), and other service agencies, in relation to Water Corporation infrastructure design Key skills and experience You'll have a degree in a civil engineering discipline or equivalent, along with experience in the design of water infrastructure assets. You'll also have knowledge of project management and experience with preparation and review of technical reports and designs for water industry infrastructure. Your demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence key stakeholders will ensure success in this role.
