Our vision is to create a single integrated transport network accessible to everyone - no department has a bigger role to play in keeping the Queensland of today moving, or in helping build for the future.To help keep Queensland moving, we are actively recruiting for a Senior Engineer (Traffic) to project manage the delivery of multiple road infrastructure projects through the provision of extensive technical expertise and the administration of contracts and support to the design, construction, and maintenance processes.To be successful in this role, you will need to have had previous exposure to: Conducting assessments of road infrastructure and prepare reports on recommended engineering solutions to particular problems. Developing asset management strategies for transport infrastructure that minimise whole of life costs. Providing support and advice on the planning and design process, to ensure delivery of program outcomes, value for money and best practice. Determining the engineering requirements, including materials, critical components, and systems, involved in supporting project management and delivery. Ensuring quality management procedures are adhered to facilitate the delivery of road projects to a high and consistent standard. Managing and maintaining effective liaison and communication with all levels of internal and external stakeholders. Registration as a Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) and a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification accepted by Engineers Australia are mandatory requirements of this role.For further information please refer to the Role Description / Role Statement.Benefits We celebrate diversity in creating a workplace culture that is built on respect, dignity, and fairness.
