Our growing Environmental services team is focused on identifying, assessing, and remediating contaminated sites and collaborating on what impacts our clients and communities. The opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity to be a key member of our contaminated land business as we are looking for a highly skilled environmental professional with expertise in the assessment and management of contaminated land to join us. This newly created role will join a dynamic team and lead projects focused on identifying, assessing, and remediating contaminated sites. Your role will include Lead and manage contaminated land site assessments and remediation projects. Oversee field investigations, sampling, and data interpretation to prepare risk-based assessments in accordance with relevant legislation and guidelines. Develop and guide our clients to implement cost-effective remediation strategies to mitigate risks posed by contamination. Prepare detailed reports and technical specifications for clients and stakeholders. Provide guidance and mentorship to peers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Ensure projects meet timelines, budgetary requirements, and quality standards. About you You’ll have qualifications from a recognised tertiary institution in earth science, geology, environmental science, or engineering, and be working towards relevant professional industry certification. Your work to date will have been in environmental consulting, specifically in contaminated land assessment and remediation, and have a working knowledge of relevant environmental regulations, industry standards, and best practices that relate to the assessment and management of contaminated land. In-depth experience in completing site investigations, and familiarity with a range of remediation technologies is a must, alongside strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Due to the nature of the work, the ability to gain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and have Australian citizenship will be advantageous.
