This role is available for anyone residing in Sydney or Melbourne!This role could be perfect for an experienced facilities/asset management consultant looking to step up into a leadership role, an experienced leader or an operational Asset/Facilities Manager looking for a change!This role has a salary range that is flexible based on the level of experience - ranging from $100,000 to $140,000 package.The Opportunity: Due to growth in facilities and asset management advisory, these roles could be based in either the Sydney or Melbourne offices to join a high-functioning team! Working closely with a supportive Senior Consultant (or work as a Senior Consultant supporting a team of project consultants), you will be involved in a broad array of projects. Typical engagements might include contracting and procurement, performance regimes, asset management and operational plans, lifecycle costing, FM and Asset Management service delivery reviews and the provision of due diligence reports.Your Responsibilities and Duties will include: Undertaking site visits or inspections and identifying areas of improvement, developing asset registers, building fabric inspections. Analysing data to make recommendations surrounding asset lifecycle models, Capex/Opex budgets and operational plans. Preparing draft reports and draft specifications aligned to the client's format and structure. Assisting in preparing business cases, tender responses and marketing material for the organisation and external clients. Provision of due diligence reports, FM and Asset Management service delivery reviews. In a senior consultant position, you will also supervise and act as the technical support for junior consultants. Your Skills and Attributes: Using your commercial and analytical traits, you will enjoy variety and working on project-oriented engagements. You will have an excellent grasp of the written language to prepare and write reports and communicate clearly to your clients. You will have excellent attention to detail, and might show a flair for spreadsheets, maintenance planning, asset management or contracts, procurement or bid writing. Either way, the work will be tailored to your strengths as well as teach you many more new skills. Demonstrable commercial experience across the Asset Management and FM Services sector. Exposure to ISO55000 or ISO41000 advantageous. A tertiary qualification across Building, Asset Management or Facilities Management. Confidence, relationship-building skills and networking attributes, since this opening will deal with a myriad of internal and external stakeholders. Experience leading a team of juniors and demonstrated leadership experience.
