You will deliver financial reports, provide analysis on performance, and use insights to drive improvements. Building strong relationships and aligning financial insights with business objectives is key.This is a 12-month fixed-term role, based in Melbourne CBD.What you'll be doing Delivery of monthly commentary across Gross Margin, Opex and D&A with variance analysis to budget/forecast Prepare and lead SIP bonus calculations Driving and leading various projects within the team from conception to completion, building and establishing processes for new business incubations, ensuring financial hygiene standards are met Serve as the main point of contact between finance and the business, facilitating communication and sharing knowledge across teams Challenging the business and adding value by bringing to attention areas of potentially adverse financial impact Provide analysis and insights to stakeholders, with the objective of supporting high-quality commercial decision making and strategy development Provide appropriate specialist input to support key finance and business stakeholders Add value by acting with key stakeholders' interest in mind, establishing and maintaining effective relationships, gaining trust and respect Undertake ad-hoc tasks and special projects as directed by management Attend town halls and leadership team meetings to deliver finance updates Prepare budgets, reforecasts and 4-year plans including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow Coordinate the collection of inputs and preparation of outputs with stakeholders to meet Group deadlines Present variance analysis vs prior period or last forecast to enable management review Work with Group team to produce necessary inputs into the Group packs Identify and implement ways to improve the reporting of financial and operational information to management, including sourcing and clearly defining key data and assumptions to support the forecast and budget models Contribute to team meetings and team engagement initiatives Contribute to team strategy and deliver on continuous improvement initiatives What you'll bring to the table CA/CPA/ACA/MBA qualified 5+ years' post qualification Advanced user of Finance module of ERP (preferably SAP/ Netsuite) Advanced user of MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) High quality written communication skills including management & external report writing Experience of month-end close and finance planning process Motivated, self-starter with flexible and collaborative work style Strong stakeholder management skills Strong analytical and conceptual skills Experience working collaboratively with internal stakeholders outside of direct team We'd love to see your application by 11:59pm, Friday 7 March 2025.
