Recruitment Consultant at Hays | Recruiting experts in Senior Finance & Accounting Our client, a growing FMCG has the opportunity for a Finance Transformation Analyst to join them on a 6-month temporary contract. Under the supervision of the Finance Transformation Manager, you will deliver project outcomes with support from the transformation team. The project’s goal is to enhance the financial control environment, ensuring robust governance over our financial accounting processes. This involves collaborating with the project team to address all control gaps, following recommendations from a leading consulting firm. Your new role Create status reports using Excel graphs. Follow up on completion and engage with the business. Assist in evaluating attestation responses for financial impact. Triage for material misstatement risk, including necessary business engagement. Conduct business workshops and process walkthroughs. Utilise inputs from business quarterly attestation feedback, internal audit, and external audit findings. Maintain the consolidated Group RACM file. Work with the Controls Manager on project delivery. Support control queries and project activities for AU, NZ, and US. Issue communications as required. Identify risks and issues, and suggest recommended solutions. Assist with the implementation of control gap closures as needed. What you'll need to succeed Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to write effectively, influence, and collaborate at all levels of the organisation. Must be immediately available Possess 3-5 years of experience in risk, audit, or financial accounting/governance, preferably with a Big 4 firm or a large commercial organisation. Have a solid background in financial accounting and audit or risk, along with a tertiary degree and professional qualification such as CA, CFA, or equivalent. Demonstrate the ability to identify and implement new and improved ways of working that add value, even in ambiguous situations. Be skilled in adaptability, challenging the status quo, and strong problem-solving.
