About Us At Brown & Bird Financial Planning Mackay, we care about our client’s knowledge and their confidence around strategies for their future goals. We have been working in the Financial Planning industry for over 20 years. We take a genuine interest in our client’s lives, and the financial aspects of their life. We work with them on their goals and dreams and assist them to ensure these are fulfilled. The Role This role seeks an experienced Senior Financial Planner whose primary focus is to provide specialist financial advice and who can enhance existing and new client relationships and build on internal networks. This is a great opportunity for a driven, relationship-focused and self-motivated professional. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Provision of ongoing and comprehensive Financial Planning advice to clients encompassing strategies such as SMSF, Superannuation, Retirement Planning, Centrelink, Investments and Risk. Build and strengthen relationships with Business Referral partners to improve and increase business. Work with the paraplanning team to formulate strategies to meet client needs and goals. Manage reviews and regular contact with clients. Fulfill all regulatory requirements, including provision of appropriate disclosures, ensuring all advice is in the client’s best interests and meeting all CPD requirements. About You You will have had at least 3-5 years as a Financial Advisor with a background in strategy development of Superannuation, Risk, Retirement and a thorough knowledge of Wealth Creation and Investment and have the drive and motivation to build solid business relationships. You will be working in a supportive and professional environment and will need to possess the following skills: Relevant FASEA approved tertiary qualification that meets the current requirements for Authorised Representative designation. Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Financial Planner providing holistic advice. Ability to drive and develop internal and external relationships and work in a team environment that can facilitate outcomes for clients. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
