Job Description
MaxoTel are an Australian based leading supplier of business VoIP products including SIP Termination, Hosted PBX, Wholesale Termination, White Label reselling and VoIP hardware. We are looking for a work-from-home (WFH) PHP developer from anywhere in Australia to join our team, working on new and existing web applications and APIs in the VoIP/Telco industry as well as a partner company in the Food & Hospitality industry. We are looking for a full stack developer with strong PHP/MySQL knowledge to work alongside other like-minded developers. This is approximately a 50/50 split of back-end/front-end development. As this is a full-stack position, you must be able to create front-end HTML, CSS, and jQuery as well as high quality back-end PHP code. Our code-base is written in vanilla PHP so you must be comfortable not using frameworks. You will also: Contribute to customer facing website and account portal Update and improve an administration portal to assist staff in managing clients and tickets Develop new features in administration, reseller, and customer portals (customer facing and back-end) Develop and maintain brand new point of sale software in PHP for partner company Manage payment integration for partner company Liaise with team members and customers Fix bugs when they arise What do you need? Strong English language (speaking and written) Strong PHP 5 and 7/8 knowledge Strong MySQL knowledge and writing efficient queries for large datasets Strong jQuery knowledge Experience with Git or similar version control systems Experience using putty and linux for managing files and git The ability to communicate, think for yourself, and solve problems. 5+ years professional experience Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Telecommunications #J-18808-Ljbffr
