Specialising across the Defence, Energy & Resources, Property & Infrastructure and Renewable sectors, they have grown by 25% over the last 2 years, with no signs of easing up. In 2025, they want to double down on their Design capabilities for T&D and Renewable projects across Australia. As a result of these new objectives, they are seeking a highly skilled Senior HV Engineer to be based from either Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane or Adelaide. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the engagement with key clients across Australia and the development of opportunities. Perform concept and detail HV design for substation and renewable projects. Manage the development of specific project related design deliverables i.e. single line diagrams, high voltage reticulation design, protection studies, earthing reports, harmonics assessments, load flows etc. Review of detailed design documents prepared by subcontractors and equipment suppliers for completeness and compliance to Australian standards. If required, provide site-based support for projects across Australia. YOU WILL HAVE: 5+ years of experience in HV Infrastructure and Renewable projects. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant qualifications. Demonstrated experience in the power generation, both conventional and renewable energy industry in Australia. Proficient in primary design, including substation layout, cable studies, electrical clearance, short-circuit forces, EMF/Corona studies, earthing studies, lighting studies etc. Proficient in AUTOCAD and/or MicroStation. This is a Senior level HV Engineer role with an exciting and leading consultancy.
