Senior Health and Safety (Hygienist) Consultant A fantastic opportunity to join one of Australia’s most exciting Environmental Management Companies as we open our South Brisbane office to service the Queensland market. LRM Global’s Head office is in Melbourne. With significant existing long-term relationships looking to adopt our services locally, we are seeking two key people to fill positions initially: Senior Health and Safety Professional Health and Safety Graduate Senior Health and Safety (Hygienist) Professional position requires: A highly enthusiastic and driven individual A great team player A person excited to be joining an organisation with long term growth opportunities for all great staff members Strong Industrial Hygiene knowledge and understanding Strong mould assessment skills preferably with IICRC certification or equivalent Sound understanding of Health and safety legislation Sound understanding of asbestos related work including air monitoring, site assessments and visual inspections Understanding of noise monitoring Proven experience managing projects and a team Highly organised Great rapport with clients, a good and clear communicator Would enjoy helping to develop a new office and team As an occupational hygienist consultant, you will be expected to consult with clients, undertake surveys and hygiene monitoring, write reports, and conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times. This may include attending sites that have been fire or flood damaged to undertake assessments in relation to mould, char and soot exposure or hazardous materials assessment. A full job description will be available during the interview process. The position will involve a balance of office and field work with a focus on hazardous material survey work, which will involve some travel and overnight stays. Be part of a highly motivated and passionate team that supports one another. A professional development program will be developed and commence once your appointment is completed. We require candidates to have the appropriate education and qualifications for the position; tertiary qualifications preferred. For the Senior role, a minimum of 7+ years’ experience would be preferred, although individuals with less experience are welcomed to apply.
