Create impact in your industry, using your specialist skills and experience As a Senior ICT Business Analyst , you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of ICT services, driving impactful projects that influence decision-making and service delivery. You'll work closely with the ICT Senior Project Officer and the ICT team to analyse business needs, design solutions, and ensure successful project outcomes. Your day-to-day duties: Play a crucial role in evaluating business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and facilitating the implementation of solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyse data, develop insights, and provide recommendations that drive strategic decisions and operational excellence. Multi-task and be familiar with several different intersecting projects and their respective ICT systems. Develop and maintain process documentation, including business process models and standard operating procedures. To be successful in this role you'll need: Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements. Experience in stakeholder management, process mapping, and documentation, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users. Background in business analysis, with a solid understanding of ICT systems and data analysis, essential to drive process improvements and ensure successful project outcomes. Key knowledge and experience: Extensive experience in technical business analysis including aid in solution development. Demonstrated experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, BI tools, or similar and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in process modelling and improvement methodologies. Essential requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Project Management, or related discipline, and/or equivalent experience. A current NSW driver licence combined with the willingness and ability to travel across NSW (including overnight stays if required).
