Your new role Join our dynamic team as an ICT Technical Officer! In this role, you will lead and mentor a small team of engineers and technicians, providing essential support to project engineering teams. Your responsibilities will include building, installing, and administering networks, servers, workstations, operating environments, and application software. You will also handle the procurement of ICT equipment, software licences, and maintenance/support contracts. Additionally, you will perform manufacturing and inspection activities in line with the organisation's Business Management System requirements. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to project engineering teams and engage in R&D activities. What you'll need to succeed Experience in ICT system administration (including operation, fault identification, and corrective actions) Leadership soft skills - experience in leading and mentoring a small team of ICT engineers/Technicians Understanding of change management and record keeping Experience of liaising with suppliers, customers, and other teams Good written communication skills and ability to develop and review technical documentation Familiarisation with Virtualisation technologies Technical Diploma or 5+ years of relevant experience A security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
