About the OPPORTUNITY We have a new opportunity for a Senior ILS Supportability Engineer - Training to partner with our Maritime Sustainment business, working on the newest ship platform, the Hobart Class DDG naval ships. Reporting to the ILS Supportability Engineering Lead, you will be employed on a permanent full-time basis and will be situated in either Garden Island (Potts Point), Sydney or other interstate locations. We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, including working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working. Key responsibilities include: Perform training requirements analysis, plan and coordinate training activities Plan the delivery of training, and deliver training artefacts Undertake facilitation and the delivery of training Provide training specialisation skills and training advice to support the program Collaborate effectively and build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a positive culture Seek and share good practice and knowledge to continuously improve training practices About YOU ILS/Supportability Engineering experience or Training experience A relevant technical qualification and Defence industry experience Experience determining training requirements, developing training plans and training schedules Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, the ability to influence and develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Self-motivation, agility to adapt to a changing environment, and driven to improve current processes and solve problems We believe in hiring for potential.
