About the Role Your role as a Senior Investment Consultant will be responsible for representing the ANZ Private Chief Investment Office and ANZ Private Advisers on the delivery of the ANZ Private Banking (ANZPB) investment proposition to our clients. The role will deliver expertise to our clients through communicating the ANZ value proposition to support client meetings and to drive optimal investment outcomes for clients. You will take a collaborative approach to client management and personalized investment solutions, working closely with Advisers and taking an active role in preparation of investment portfolio proposals for clients.Role Location: Melbourne OR SydneyRole Type: Permanent, Full time Is this role for you? Consider the following questions: Do you have an uncompromised passion for investment management and how we deliver to our clients needs and expectations? Do you have demonstrated ability to coach both internal staff and clients? Do you have experience making portfolio recommendations across broad asset class spectrum including Equities, Fixed Income, Real Estate and Alternatives (Private Markets/Hedge Funds/Credit) in a multi-asset portfolio context for UHNW clients? Can you engage successfully with team members, frontline and clients to resolve issues and represent ANZ? Have you managed investment portfolios and successfully led clients through complex change? What will you bring? To be successful in this role, you should either have these skills already or be passionate about developing them: Extensive frontline experience in Ultra High Net Worth/High Net Worth client segment within Private Banking Finance or Economics Degree, with industry relevant post graduate qualification, Masters or CFA preferred Solid academic background in financial theories, principles, and concepts commonly used in investments Excellent client relationship management skills and strong presentation skills Ability to build productive relationships with team members and clients Ability to construct bespoke multi-asset portfolios within a client’s risk constraints and return objectives, underpinned by CIO investment philosophy Sound understanding of portfolio theory and ability to perform portfolio analysis and stress test portfolios, communicating analysis to adviser and client You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
