They are building a cutting-edge platform that simplifies complex financial processes and are looking for talented individuals to join the team and help us shape the future of financial planning.About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Laravel Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is a backend-focused role where you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining our core platform. You will have the opportunity to work with a modern tech stack, contribute to key architectural decisions, and have a direct impact on the success of our product.Responsibilities: Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure PHP code using the Laravel framework. Design and implement robust APIs for integration with our frontend (React) and other services. Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver solutions. Contribute to the architecture and design of our backend systems. Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability. Contribute to improving our development processes with best practices. Deploy and manage applications on AWS using infrastructure as code (Terraform) and Kubernetes. Qualifications: Extensive experience (5+ years) in PHP development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented principles. Proven experience with the Laravel framework. Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). Experience with AWS cloud services. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and containerization (Kubernetes) is essential. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Passion for building high-quality software and a desire to learn and grow. Experience in the FinTech industry is a plus.
