About the Role This senior legal role operates within the Civil team of the recently restructured Supreme Court Registry and will primarily support the Judicial Review and Appeals List and Valuation Compensation and Planning List. Duties of this role will include: Providing legal analysis and case management advice to the Principal Lawyer, Civil and judicial officers; Managing and supervising registry lawyer/s and providing guidance and advice to other Court staff; Managing a caseload of complex cases, including many involving self-represented litigants; Contributing to projects to improve the operation of the Court and access to justice. About You Tertiary qualification in law. Admission to practice and post admission experience in civil litigation, particularly administrative law and judicial review, and/or in a court or tribunal environment is highly desirable.
