Working at CQUniversity CQUniversity’s School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Sciences is seeking an experienced, dedicated, and innovative Senior Lecturer - Field Education to join the team. This position offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the teaching and professional practice of the social work discipline, with a focus on Field Education, fostering connections between students, industry, and the academic community. As a key member of the academic team, you will oversee the Master of Social Work (Qualifying) course, including assessment requirements for all placement courses/units. You will build and maintain partnerships with social work agencies, including State Government, Non-Government organisations, and private facilities to ensure placement opportunities meet professional requirements. BSW or MSW (Q) and eligible for membership of the AASW. Proven ability to teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate University students with experience engaging with tertiary students and supporting their educational development through multi-modal and online delivery strategies. Demonstrated experience in social work as a practitioner or educator. Teaching qualification or willingness to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching / Education.
