Located within the Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences (EIS), the School of Computing and Information Technology (SCIT) prides itself on research that is innovative, relevant and internationally visible and aims to drive solutions not only for today but also for future information technology challenges. We are seeking a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer with proven research excellence and a national reputation in Software Engineering/AI who is fluent in the English language to provide development, teaching and research for courses and disciplines within the SCIT. The candidate is expected to contribute to the school's research activities, which are organised around three dynamic research groups: the Institute of Cybersecurity and Cryptology, the Centre for Artificial Intelligence, and the Centre for Applied Computing and Distributed Systems. This position will require you to be experienced in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in modern AI and/or software engineering and other related areas as you develop teaching material, prepare and deliver lectures and seminars, conduct labs, tutorials, workshops and clinical sessions. The successful candidate will be committed to positive change and providing students with the highest quality teaching and experience. They will be required to supervise students engaged in course work, honours and postgraduate research projects, and actively participate in Governance and Service activities to make a positive contribution to the Faculty, University and the Professional and Academic community. Position Description You will be able to work harmoniously and effectively as a member of teaching and research teams and be willing to share ideas and experiences.
