The Opportunity: We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel/Legal Counsel to work closely with the General Counsel and Company Secretary to manage legal activities that protect Lynas’ interests and ensure effective legal and company secretarial support to the Lynas Board. Tasks & Responsibilities: Ensure effective and open relationships with internal Lynas stakeholders. Advise on, draft, and support negotiation of commercial contracts and other agreements. Provide commercially focused legal advice to the Lynas business in a wide range of matters. Assist the company secretary in managing company secretarial duties. Work in accordance with best practices in corporate governance, including the development and maintenance of policies and procedures. Advise on legal and regulatory developments, legal risks, compliance-related matters, and industry developments. Represent the Company in a professional manner. Provide input, improvements, and ideas to continuously improve Lynas Rare Earths. Demonstrate personal commitment to safety through behaviors. Identify, report, and resolve any HSEQ issues. Skills and Experience Required for this Role: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Law. 5 to 10 years PQE. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in mining or a related industry. Be proactive and actively contribute to the continuous quality improvement of the business.
