They have recently won a number of high profile tenders and have a great platform to expand across Australian and the Asia Pacific region. The Role The team is headed by one of Australia's leading renewable energy lawyers who brings a depth of experience across solar, wind and battery sectors, who will no doubt help the successful candidate in their career development as they gain access to their unrivalled expertise. The role will encompass the complete life cycle of projects in which you will be trusted with a significant degree of responsibility. This will include daily tasks such as: Completion of new projects/transactions; Negotiating and reviewing associated documentation, and working with external counsel to ensure documentation is delivered efficiently; Liaising effectively with both more senior and more junior team members, particularly regarding tenders and procurement; Working closely with the General Counsel to implement a compliance function; Providing input in and around strategy and other areas of interest including company secretarial duties; and Creating and maintaining relationships with external counsel across the APAC region. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have between 7-9 years' PAE from a leading energy, projects or construction/infrastructure team. Ideally you will have had exposure to the renewable energy sector. You will have transaction experience and be familiar with completion process as well as project delivery.
