The role The Senior Major Project Manager is responsible for managing the delivery of major projects with a strong focus on contract management and will oversee projects to ensure South East Water’s assets remain protected. The successful candidate will prepare development agreements (offers) and facilitate collaboration between internal and external stakeholders. From the initial feasibility phase through to project completion, the successful candidate will ensure compliance, risk management, cost efficiency, and the successful delivery of projects. Who are you? To be considered for this position, you will have a minimum of 7 years experience and hold a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or other related fields and possess skills and experience in the following areas: Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, and executing contracts, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and business requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Extensive contract management experience, with a strong focus on risk management, compliance, and ensuring that all contractual obligations are met on time and within scope. Experience managing major construction contracts and projects, including all phases from investigation and planning to design, construction, and handover to ensure compliance with standards and project objectives. Strong analytical and financial skills, with expertise in cost estimation, tender evaluation, asset capitalization, and project budgeting to support decision-making and ensure cost-effective solutions. Knowledge of the Water Act, Planning and Environment Act, Subdivision Act, ISO 9001 standard and WSAA & MRWA standards would be beneficial. What's in it for you?
