As a Senior Manager – Business Services & Tax, you’ll lead a team of 10 and play a pivotal role in delivering top-tier tax and advisory services to a diverse client base while driving team growth and development. About the Role: This is an exciting, hands-on leadership role where you will: Lead tax compliance and advisory services for SME clients across various industries. Provide strategic insights and solutions for clients’ financial and operational challenges. Mentor and manage a team of 10, fostering growth and collaboration. Engage directly with clients, building long-term, trusted relationships. Contribute to strategic decision-making and business planning. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert advice on complex tax matters, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Lead tax planning, management reporting, budgeting, and other business advisory projects. Oversee and grow a portfolio of SME clients, building strong, long-term relationships. Train, mentor, and lead a team of 10 to foster growth and maintain a positive team culture. Manage workflows to ensure timely and accurate service delivery while meeting client expectations. Requirements: CPA or CA qualification. 7+ years of experience in Australian public practice. 5+ years of leadership experience, including managing and mentoring teams. Advanced skills in Xero and Microsoft Excel. Exceptional communication and strategic thinking skills. What’s on Offer: Senior role, Competitive salary.
